Word counter color

Hello guys. I have a word counter on my site that is provided by java script kit. However, the word counter is white and the font on my site is also white. I have seen it on other sites where they changed the color of the word counter to something darker so that the white font shows up better. How do I do this?

You can change the colors maybe from the site where you got the javascript kit if it they give the option.
