I just bought IPBoard and it said put in your URL so I took my domain name that I used for my forumotion forum (After I deleted it) and used it as my url for my IPBoard forum, but every time I type in my url it re-directs me to the forumotion home site. I don't know what to do.

Because you're taking a Forumotion URL and using it on a 3rd party forum...what did you expect? Forumotion doesn't want you to take their link and use it anywhere else... Shit

Who are you using to host your domain? Have you tired to edit your DNS settings? If you have the CNAME directing to the Fourmotion forum, no matter where you put it, it's going to direct to the Forumotion, because you set it up that way.

Ok, when was the last time you changed it? Making changes to your DNS settings can take about 24-72 hours to circulate through out the internet Smile

You bought a domain from Forumotion and asked Typlo for a domain transfer code and put it on your new host?

Once you moved your domain to another host and you are asking support from us we can't provided it because we don't have any support over the new host. Might want to try your host support.

This wouldn't be a problem with us because we don't provide support outside of Forumotion.

Ask Godaddy and see why. They might know since they have control over the domain.

If two Mods are hinting towards it not being in control of Forumotion, try to contact the other forum host or like I said, GoDaddy. Being that it re-directs to the Forumotion, it's not them that is in control. You set something up wrong on GoDaddy

yeah i guess you should explain to them that you have come here to the forumotion support forum to ask if we can help, and that we said it appears to be something on go daddy's or your new host end.

So explain as much as you can and see if they want you to ask us something here gain. other then that i really do not have any other suggestions or possible answers at this time.
