Hi, is it possible to have everything (I mean standard words like topic/thread/post /faq/reply/regsiter/signi in, etc.) both in French and English side by side?

Je disais : Sur votre forum ? Impossible... Confused

Il ne doit pas y avoir l'option du choix de la langue du forum dans le profil des utilisateurs (j'ai regardé sur un forum à moi)

Sorry for my english :DD

There is a suggestion about the language choice in the profile, on the French support forum.

Here's the address ; http://forum.forumactif.com

Just look in the "Suggestion/Améliorations" section.

Even if you put bilingual buttons, the texts will be still unilingual. Only the admin can choose the forum language, the members can't choose the language. But there'a suggestion on the French support forum, in the Suggestion/Amélioration section.

That was a good read...http://forum.forumactif.com/ftopic35266-0-asc-0.htm(dero checks on what site he is,editboard or forumactif) Laughing
I understand what ''theteck'' was saying and I think that is what John was asking for,not using a INSTANT TRANSLATOR on the text which I agree,it would be a nightmare (logistically, :DD puis le fautes d'orthographes)
This is where you see the people who read and simply discard somebody's idea.(If you want a phphbb site git yourself to one!!!! Shocked ) ... lol! J'espère que c'était pas la suggestion.

That's the problem with big forums. There is much people and they aren't always respectful. In the two last months, the team had to recruit three new moderators after a former moderator yelled about laxity in the forum team. Now, we feel that it's more supervised, especially since Lolo le 13 (here : Lolo the 13)'s nomination.
