Custom "Who Is Online" Widget

Hey,
I would like to make a custom widget, similar in aspects to the "Who Is Online" widget, if it is possible to fill in the |required|? (See below)

I don't think that would work. because these codes don't work in widget/portal

Hmmmm... Is there no variable for 'how many users online' and 'how many guests online'? Everything in that codebox works as it is meant to, just was missing things.

Else would it be possible to use an html page. Unfortunately my php / html knowledge is limited.

Looking for a way to implement the things between the "|" "|", for example; looking for a variable (or something) to show how many users were "online today" (within 24 hours).

You can't show who was online today, only in the templates
