How do you make someone moderator

Can someone tell me how to make someone a moderator in the admin panel or what ever way you have to do it?

Yea but I mean like a moderator of the hole thing like a global moderator.

The thread Darren sent you to is right. To make a global mod, you need to edit the permissions that will allow them to moderate in all of the threads on your forum.

Oh okay, but iv'e done that and it does not make them a "global Moderator" for the hole thing, but thanks anyway, moderators, or admins someone please lock.
