How do you ban someone as a guest?

is it possible to ban someone as a guest so they cant look at your forum at all?

You can ban the IP of any guest by looking at the who is on line in general console. Copy the Ip after finding out were they are from and go to the ban IP.

Why would you want to, surely you don't allow guests to post?

You can't ban guests.

You can make it where guests can't see your forum sections and need to log in.

It is not possible to ban a guest as others have stated. I don't see any reasons why you would want to ban a guest anyway... but you can make it so that guests need to register in order to view your forum as UltimateLion has suggested.

To do this, go to:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. General Tab
3. Categories and forums (on the left, under Forum)
4. Click on the permissions sign () on a forum (this step must be repeated for all forums)
5. Uncheck "Guest" in the "View the forum" column
