How do I add thumbnails to my topics?

Hi guys, I want to enhance my forum by adding thumbnails to each topic, is it possible to do it? I found this examples from my favorite forums. I hope we could do it with ours too. The idea is, the first image posted could be the automatic thumbnail or have them submit a thumbnail image that they want for the topic, any of the two will do. Thanks in advance. Technically, it is possible to add "thumbnails" to topics in terms of adding them as "topic icons" i.e. the ones on this forum are the "Solved and Locked" () ones. However, this is impratical and members are only limited to the topic icons that you add. If you would like to go ahead with this idea, then please go to:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Display Tab
3. Pics management (on the left, under Pictures and Colors)
4. Advanced Mode
5. Topic Icons
6. Add each individual thumbnail image to your liking

acp>general>categories & forums> click modify button >image url> paste code>save.
you can also paste html code in the Description section .

That will only make an image appear next to the corresponding forum. He is asking how to make images appear next to forum topics.
