Delete forums from category

I originally put several forums in a category, but now only want the 2 photo galleries. How do I delete the others without deleteing the photo galleries.
If I can't do that can I transfer my photos to another category! Please explain in plain english as am new to all this!

Would also appreciate help with the general appearance of the forum!

When you delete the category, it will ask you to transfer the photo galleries to another category Wink

I am very sorry but I have mislead you...I discovered that when I went to delete it that it is not a category but a forum and sub forums. It is some of the subforums that I need to delete! But I can't seem to have the option to delete them seperately and am too scared to hit the delete button in case I loose all the photos that took me forever to load.

Please help me!

If you delete the categoly , I think you will delete all the forum , so just delete the forum only.

Thanks for yor quick reply...I understand what you are saying but the problem runs deeper than that..refer to my latest post 'site is different to admin panel'. If the admin panel looked the same as my site it would be easy, but it doesn't?
