Solved Questionable Links With Traffic Exchange Feature

Post by SLGray January 29th 2011, 7:21 am

I have the Traffic Exchange feature on my site. I have come across a questionable link. It takes you to a topic that I believe is not for children. My site is about Zoo Tycoon which is mostly played by young children.

Here is the link that shows up on my site: Questionable Link

I did not show the link or the name of the link because of the words used.

Is there any way to filter questionable links/sites?

Thanks MrMario for the quick response. I just hope no one from my site sends a Abuse Report.

Add this to your CSS:

Code:
#ptrafic_open,#ptrafic_close {display:none;}
This will remove the "Similar topics" display from your forum, but keep your forum a part of the exchange. Your forum's links will show up on other forums, but you will keep your members on your site instead of having them click on links that take them to a potential competitor's site!

And you won't have to worry about inappropriate links, or the "sponsored links" that will inevitably appear after this feature is added to all forums.
