What does "join file" mean?

Hello HeroUltraOmega,
The "join file" option is a permission to allow your members to attach attachments. If join file is checked, then the respective group will be able to attach any attachments in the respective forum(s).

Thanks for your explanation, Base, I've often wondered what "join file" meant too. So glad HeroUltraOmega asked the question.

Whoops! Sorry! Wrong explanation...
Join file actually means that they're allowed to attach files whilst download attachments literally allows them to download. Sorry for the misleading inforamtion.
