User Forum access restriction

Hi,

Is there any possible way to restrict a user from accessing a particular forum?

I have tried using groups but by restricting his group, I would have to untick "Members" and this would restrict everyone else from accessing the forum.

Groups is the only way. You need to uncheck the members. Once you do that you can check the boxes for the groups.

hmm by unticking members, I would restrict all groupless members from accessing as well.
