New HTML page & link to new thread

Hey guys - a couple quick questions (should be easy, hopefully)

I'm setting up a forum for a game I play... and I need a way for people to be able to apply for the clan.

I've seen this done in another forumotion board, but I"m not exactly sure how to set it up.
The first thing I need is to have a link on the header re-direct to an instructions page (already got this).
However, this instruction page is what I'm not sure how to set up - any help here?

Secondly, on that instructions page there will be a link that says, "Click here to apply". I need that link redirect to a new post for the user to fill out. How would I go about doing that?

Hi, I'm not sure what you're asking for the instruction page but if you want a link that says "Click here to apply" to redirect to a new post, please use the following code:

Replace YOUR URL HERE with the URL of the new post link.

I guess I didn't explain very well... sorry about that.

I need to create an HTML page that looks like the rest of the forum ... but allows me to write custom text and have an URL.

The next thing would be, how do I create a link that goes to a new thread in a forum?

you want to go to Modules > HTML Pages > Create New HTML Page.

Type up the contents of the HTML page, it even has a WYSIWYG editor mode. And then there is a check box which syas something like ''Use your forum header and footer' which means it will look like your forum, it will have your forum side bars and banner and everything.
