Chatbox Scrolling Issue
My forum is running PHPBB3 and the chatbox won't scroll to the bottom when someone posts in it, it actually does the opposite, it scrolls up 2-3 lines.
Is there any way to fix it?

Re: Chatbox Scrolling Issue
are people sending messages the same time you are trying to scroll?
You can try to disable it for a lil while then reinstall again and see if it's any better. i know this has happen in the past for a few people but have not heard of it happening in a long time.
But try that first then let us know how you make out.

Re: Chatbox Scrolling Issue
When you say reinstall do you mean enable it again?
It does this no matter what I use, be it phpBB2, phpBB3, PunBB, or Invision.
The odd thing is is that its fine until someone else joins in the chatbox, I can type just fine by myself and it never happens.
Nope.
http://theaidsdagger.forumotion.com/ Here is the forum, I disabled the chatbox for tonight, I will re-enable it again tomorrow morning. This has been VERY frustrating.

it might be a skin issue or perhaps a couple small glitches with chrome due to the forumotion updates.
But i also noticed when i posted on chrome non of the test quotes or anything was showing either but all worked on other browsers?
So i am not sure what the deal is.. you said you tried other skins and still the same?
So i will have to pass it on to the admins and see if they can request a tech or find out if it's a skin thing or not.
You dont have any Custer coding you added to anything lately do you?
