Unable to login to forum with admin account : Incorrect Password?

Hello, I'm not sure if this is in the right sub-forum, but If it is not, can you please move it to the right area?

When ever I try to login to my forum, I get a incorrect password, even though the password is exactly the same ( I copied the password from a text file when both creating the site and when entering )

I'm wondering if this may be because of the length of the password, as the password was 30-40 letters.

I also cant send a reset because of the 'Disallow admin to send new password' , which stops me dead in my tracks.

I tried to set up a new forum, replaced the password with a different one, and now Ive lost the original password for the forum aswell.

I just managed to fix it, my password was so long it cut off the last digit, so I just managed to get into the forum!
