Change the code to Adjust to Browser Empty Change the code to Adjust to Browser

Post by cougar30 Mon 7 Mar - 23:46

Hi all,

I have this code.

</style><div style="position:absolute; Top: 271%; left: 14px;">
<script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"></script><fb:like href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Nine-Elms-Dedication-Forum/174359172589342" show_faces="true" width="200"></fb:like></div><script type=text/javascript></script>

Please can someone advise how i adjust the code to adjust to anyone's Forum Height/Width or even Browser? It is fine on mine as I adjust the 'Top' to what I want.

But with my Laptop it appears half way up the forum page.

Many Thanks

Hi all,

Has anyone any ideas to what the code should be changed to please? I'd like it to show inline with the 'Administration Panel' option to the left hand side at the bottom of the forum.

Many thanks.

The code is in ACP > Display > Generalities and in the HTML part. This is the code; <style type="text/css">
img {
border:none;
}
</style><div style="position:absolute; Top: 281%; left: 14px;">
<script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/all.js#xfbml=1"></script><fb:like href="https://www.facebook.com/pages/Nine-Elms-Dedication-Forum/174359172589342" show_faces="true" width="200"></fb:like></div><script type=text/javascript></script>

At the bottom of the page it produces the like button. But the issue is that I would like it to remain inline to the left of the Administation Panel regardless of what Browser and Screen Resolution size you have.

Many Thanks

This puts the Facebook Like button at the bottom. But whatever pixel/screen size you use, it puts it a different points on the page. What I need it to do instead is just keep it held beside the Administration Panel without taking into account the above.

I hope this explains things clearly?

Many Thanks.

Not sure where you mean? I've had a look in ACP and can't seem to find it. Please can you help point me in the right direction?

Many Thanks.

Hi, your templates will only display if you are the founder. It should be under the Display Tab and the templates should be at the bottom. Wink

I am the founder. This is what I get;

Templates administrationIn this page, you can modify templates and change your forum look.
Modified templates are written in red.
To use the default template again, delete your template by clicking on delete.

Only templates of phpbb2 or PunBB versions will be affected.

Ah right, your forum version is phpBB 3 and therefore you can't edit templates. :/

Is this something that might be incorporated into PHPBB3? Ir maybe I can add some HTML elsewhere or some different HTML coding?
