how to adjust the code background color.

As you can see on the background color when I code. In my forum it appear to be shorter so how can I adjust it to a full length or to make it more longer..

i am not sure. i could probably get it through the template.
but css would be much easier. so i would wait for another staff or member to help that knows css better then my self.
