Change the look of the portal

In the center column of the portal, it is reserved for the forum with the widgets located on each side of the center column. I was wondering if I could get rid of the forum in the middle column and replace it with a widget and other things. Also, when I activate a portal I noticed that my other pages take on the portal form. Can I have a portal page designed how I want it but not change the rest of the forum.

Hi, you can easily edit what widgets appear on the portal by going to:

1. Administration Panel (advanced mode)
2. Modules Tab
3. Portal management (on the left, under Portal & Widgets)
4. Click on the portal's "Structure"
5. Modify its appearance on the page

When a member goes to my forum : forexalliancefx.com, they arrive at the portal. When they log in, they are redirected to the home page. Is there anyway my members can remain on (be redirected to) the portal after signing on or do they have to click the portal link to get back to the portal?

No sorry, if they log in then they are redirected to the forum index unless they click on the Portal link.
