[Q] "The supplied domain name is not well configured"

Hi

We just created a new forum (it's in the danish, so I don't expect you to understand what it says)

http://androidtips.unlimitedforum.com/

Now we have bought our own domain name, and tried following the guide to configuring it, it seems that we are doing something wrong though, since we get this message:

The supplied domain name is not well configured
You have no CNAME redirecting to : androidtips.unlimitedforum.com

We've put in the details as shown in the attached photo at the DNS config page of our domain, and the CNAME should be configured properly.

I tried a various different combinations though, but nothing seems to work.

What are we doing wrong? The domain is activated, so it can't be it.

Will try it out. I purchased it outside of Forumotion.

Okay, please bear in mind that the interface in the tutorial may not look the exactly like yours but the principal is the same.

Hmm... can't get that to work either, but I don't have all the same settings either :S

Getting this message now

The supplied domain name is not well configured
You have no CNAME redirecting to : androidtips.unlimitedforum.com
You have configured a A type DNS ( A type redirects to an IP address, and not to a textual domain name like the CNAME )
