Cannot create cname

I already have a domain name (funfreak.in), I tried to make a cname record for my forum in which record name was 'forum' and my domain name is funfreak.in, after that the destination link was my forumotions link (funfreak.forumotions.net). So that my cname can be made like this forum.funfreak.in

As I made a cname record and opened it, I get redirected to another forum which was in different language (not english). The link of that forum where get redirected is forum.forumactif.com

When I tried to make cname with other destination (not forumotions), it worked properly for me.
Please help me out.

if I made it, I filled it like this :

Record Type : CNAME
Content : [YOUR FORUM LINK] like : https://help.forumotion.com
TTL : the maximum content
Host : www.

maybe you can try it like me, because that's work.

I have tried as you said but id did not worked.
I used record type as cname
content: funfreak.forumotions.net
Host: forum

but when I opened forum.funfreak.in, it opened forumotion's french forum (http://forum.forumactif.com/)

Please help me.

try to change host "forum" with host : "www"
and the forum will be like this : http://www.forum.funfreak.in
