Using the Trash

Ok, I need help.

When I delete a post, it doesn't go to my Trash. Where does it go!?

How do I fix this?

I can delete stuff, but if I ever delete something by accident, I can never get it back. I just need this problem solved. I have noticed it hasn't worked since I deleted the first post. It is still there, but nothing else has been moved to my trash automatically. I can moderate, and select it to be moved there, but it wont automatically go when I select to delete something from the forum page.
Anyone else having this problem? Help meeee!!!

1.Check the Basket Forum by going to: Admin panel > General > Configuration > ( Check the Basket ) Make sure you choose the Basket into Trash Forum.

2. Check your old topic , where it move to. Or Check did you move in the wrong forum or what.

No I got it now. But when I try to delete something, I can only get it to go to the trash by sending the whole topic to the trash. I can't send seperate posts to the Trash by just deleting them from the topic?
