Background size

Is there a specific background resolution the forum has? I've tried using different resolution files (images) but they either repeat, are to small or too large and get cut off. And different forum users tell me that it's different for each one of them. Some of em the background shows up small and others say it's huge and so only see of the background is visible.
Is there a way to control that?

I haven't got an actuall answer to this. The only thing you can do when making a background picture is to make the corners of your picture in photoshop like that so they blend in with BG colour you set for your forums background and the overlaping wont show. Or use a picture that has the same "samples" so the overlaping also wont show.

Can't please em all but it works for me. I'll just work on making it blend better. Thank you
