Back Door access to forum?

We had an influx of trolls from a forum, (wickedwatchcooler) regester and join the forum between the 27th of December and Monday of this week. I have banned all of them after they started causing issues on the forum. It was apparently organized to disrupte my forum, http://watchlords.forumotion.net/forum.

I know it should not be possible to hack into the forum itself, but I am wondering if a back door is possible, if so how do i find it.

What backdoor? You mean hacking it? Don't think you should do it.

I would assume that a back door could be created - it is with state of the art security on true phpbb.
But then again, that's hacking, and against the Terms of Service, so you may see your forum gobbled up if you do so. - Ive heard of it being done before.

I wouldn't have a clue in the world how to do it, but maybe google something up, but as I said, you run the risk of losing your forum - Hacking isn't just a light joke like it used to be

Joph, yea, whilst hacking, you can create a back door, which I believe all developers used to create as an early escape route - Well, they used to do it, but it wasn't on major scripts, but on minor scripts such as Java games (back in the day, they were many pages long) and a re-entry route in-case the "front" door was closed, and they still desired to do something.

I do not want to create a back door to my own forum I want to see if there is one because we had a lot of new users who joined with the intent to cause problems at the forum. I have banned as many as I can figure out are part of the group. !8 of them at last count. They posted at their normal forum that a backdoor had been created. I want to find out if it is possible just being a member ( posting photo in the forum with code, keystroke whatever) to do this. If so, how do I find it and close it.

So is there backdoor access to a forumotion forum and if so, how can it be blocked?

EDIT I happened to find this information from some searching. It is a little dated, but describes the revision of the user agent to disguise yourself as a googlebot.
