"Recent Topics" stream to site hosted by other server

I have a site hosted by another domain server outside of Forumotion. I'm not real good with HTML/CSS coding and would like to find a way to custom create a string of HTML code that would stream "Recent Topics" to the home page of my website hosted outside of Forumotion. Any ideas/suggestions? I'd thought about creating an RSS feed, but I don't seem to understand how to create those.

Right now my primary domain is just pointing to the forum on your server, but that's soon going to change

You could create a portal page with just the Recent Topics widget and some custom CSS, then use an IFRAME on your main site to link to the widget. This is the simplest solution, but it will slow down your main site.

If you have access to PHP, another option is using the PHP file_get_contents() function to load the page, and then parse out the recent topics. This is the best solution, but it requires a fair amount of programming knowledge...
