Register actived new members: Accessing forum

I have noticed over the passed two weeks that sometimes guest are registering on the forum and are being automatically actived.

I have setup my forum that I have to active new members, this dose not happen constantly just sometimes.

Have checked the settings and everything seems fine.
Is this just a bug in the system?

Not sure what you mean,there is only a Register button which users can register and then a option of: I Agree to these terms I do not agree to these terms. There is no unsubscribe botton.

Dont understand that some users are getting access without me manualy activating them.When they have registered some are in the inactive users option but some users are bypassing this.
They are going direct straight though to my forum. I have run a test and everythink is ok.

Thanks for your help i have looked at the link you have gave me.
This option:Here you can unsubscribe yourself from a forum.

So therefore how can this option give you direct access to anyone forum When they should have not entered it in the first place.
I think this is something to do with security or a software bug to do with Managing Security and User Access

The link is to delete the username & profile information from a certain forum.

I believe you are misunderstanding the question.

Brenda has it set up where the administrators has to active the new accounts, but some people are bypassing that. They are being automatically actived.

I think she mentioned guest in her first post. So i think that was the case.

Maybe she can confirm whether i am thinking in the wrong direction.

Yep you have it in one. This is correct. Any idear on this how they can bypassing this.
