I was thinking and I kinda like the idea of the profile information on the top of the post, it would be completely optional.

You can make this with some CSS and Javascript. This code works for PHPBB2 ONLY.

1. Admin panel
2. Display
3. Templates
4. viewtopic_body template
and delete everything from there, and add everything from this link

Then you click Save and confirm the tempalte (green plus +)

If someone who knows coding well adapts javascript for Invision and PunBB too, then you won't need this feature you're suggesting.
