How does Forumotion make money?

I'm new to Forumotion so sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum. I was just wondering how does Forumotion make money and funding to stay in bussiness since it's free? Thanks.

The usual way by adverts, if your forum is new, you may not have seen any on yours yet, but they will arrive in time

Advertisements and domain names pretty much.

The same thing with TV shows: advertising. Also, they charge you credits, which you can purchase to make upgrades to your forum.

And btw, did you know that when you search on Google, it saves your IP and other information and sells it to third parties to make money? It's a rumor, though it makes sense -_-
