You can do this trick by using sheath forwarding. Just need to create a cname and name it with an address you want to use and point it to your forums with sheath enabled.

That way anybody who types your choice of address will get sent there and the address will stay the same in the address bar.

If you are hosting via your computer or a web hosting plan then you can download the phpbb forums software from here for free and set it up to run on your server/virtual web hosting server.
