need to get incontact with the godfather

i need to get in contact with the godfather like the title says. his profile has no option to pm or email.
i need to ask about https connection for facebook. i bought my domain name from fourmotion. can anyone help or have him pm me. please.

well basically with the new rules taking effect of facebook. we are going to need to provide a https: address to use the apps we had to develop for facebook connect. I was wondering since i bought my domain name from fourmotion. ( i assume thats where it came from.) reason i say that is i bought in acp. anyway i wanted to know if this is possible if so how much yearly. I wanna get ahead of this before the october 1st dead line. before my facebook connect and app stop working.

Well this will be something many of us including myself will need info on.

It seems to me this is going to be a option added for any facebook members to decide if they want to use it or not, So i guess anyone that dose it will auto cancel out any apps that are not set up for it???

Idk if it will cancel or not.I don't wanna find out..LOL if we Dan purchase I will to be safe.

yeah i dont know, i cant find any info about how it will effect developer tools etc.., But i do know it was pain and took me a while to get all my facebook options hooked up on some of my sites.
The problem with me was i sent the thing for my pin id etc to be text to me,FB sent me the text and it was a invalid pin, id they sent me.. then it would not send me a new one.. Long story short, it took like two months for me to finally get that worked out with facebook.

And now this.. if it is going to effect all i have on my pages now, and not just forumotion sites, then screw facebook, i will be done with them. It's not worth the hassle and trying to get support from them is nearly impossible.

So we will have to wait and see, the godfather is not back until the 19th, but i am sure the forumotion techs are aware of the new FB option..

And i think one of the main reasons why FB is adding this feature is because there are so many fake/crooked apps out there,

If Facebook Connect stops working on forumotion boards on October 1st, it means the Facebook Connect PHP script was not rewritten to support OAuth2.0 and the new Graph interface. We will see.

If you have any Facebook apps/tabs that pull content from a forumotion board, those apps/tabs will be broken permanently on October 1st. On that day, all apps/tabs must pull content from secure (https://) sites, and SSL is not supported by forumotion (or by any other free hosting company).
