You can change the background picture of your chatroom to suit your style. Many backgrounds are included and can easily be selected in the options menu. If you dont like any of the pre installed backgrounds, upload your own custom background, any picture you like can become your background picture as long as its not animated!

Can I change this white also?

shows white when I make a new post too so I'm guessing it shows on other stuff too
