linking a banner?

Hey guys, I have successfully put a new banner on my forum, but I can't work out how to hyperlink it, so when someone clicks on it, it goes to another website..

how might I do so??

by "link to the forum here" do you mean the site i want it linked to?

once i'd filled in both the link and the picture link it became too long to fit in the bar..

ok managed to use a different host and get links in, but it still isn't working..

Where are you trying to place the code? You can't place it in the bar in the styles/image area.
