Are we allowed to install advertisements using the Google Adsense software on our forums?

You can insert their script on your page(s).

Remember to read their ToS, or your account will be suspended.

It's in the application process I'm having difficulty. I haven't even been queued for review because I can't make an account. It says the URL I provide is false. Am I doing something stupid?

Try starting an account with Chrome, not FireFox.
