A selected topics bar like the one of recent topics

Hi,

i would like to know if it is possible ( by writing a code in the css perhaps ) to add a bar to my forum (like the existing recent topics bar) in which i i could add the topics that i want in order to make easier for the users to see them.

Is there such a code and if not can someone provide it please ? Smile

No the recent just shows the ones that have the recent activity.

Yes i know and i want to add a bar in which i will add manually the ones that i 'll select.

I know that by default there is no such a bar, so i ll have to put a code for this in the css.

Does someone know a code that will help me ?

Use the link from the recent topics. Get the URL and create a portal for it then the navigator picture Very Happy

Thank you both for your help but can you provide me more details of how to do it? Smile

The link that MrMario gave me, refers to a different way of the "recent topics" widget to appear.

The thing that i would like to have in my forum is a widget where i could add the the topics that i will select , not the most recent.

I want this because even if i make some crucial topics "sticky" the users don't read them because it's easier for them to read the topics that they see when they enter the forum, so they only pay attention to the most recent topics because they displayed directly to them.They do not get in the categories to see the stickies.

Sorry if i am asking a lot, i just believe that this can be very useful for many administrators of forums and i think that this can be done by getting the code that is used for the the recent topics and changing its main command to show the urls that i will insert and not automatically the urls that have been recently accessed.
