If you have banned a member on your boards, then I'm sorry to inform you that the ban cannot be undone. The ban is permanent. You can request the member to register again after deleting his/her account on your forum.

However, if you have banned a member in your Chatbox, the ban can be remove by typing /unban username in your chatbox. (ex: /unban nickname)

You can still unban a member after you have banned him. Go to admin panel=>Users & Groups=>Users=>Users. Then look for the member you banned in that list. Click on the member you banned and scroll down to the bottom of the page. There look for this option "User is active :" and Banned should be selected for that user. Just click on Yes and then save.

I have a member that was IP banned by accident on my boards. I took his IP and placed in the "Unban one or more IP addresses" under Users and Groups -->Ban control and still this individual cannot access the site nor can I delete the "UnBan IP's" that I have placed in there.

Is there something going on here as in I may have to seek out active forum support?
