Moderator's name

Hi,

I have just created a forum a couple of days ago and below the subjects, instead of saying Moderator: Séverine (my name), it says Moderator: Moderator. I tried all permission... to have it changes but can seem to find the right one!

go into admin>>>forum>>>management. find the forum syou want your name to appear on. click the permissions button and click advanced. Set it so your name is set for moderation.

Thanks a mil for that but I am getting quit frustrated here as I tried that but my name still doesn't appear!
At the moment it shows as bellow:
Subject ....
Modeator: Moderator
I want it t show as bellow:
Subject ....
Moderator: Séverine.

Sorry, I am a bit useless when it comes to computers!! Embarassed

I would like mine to look like yours where my name shows on top then admin under name can you or one of the staff tell me how to change this?

Yes, everything is unable and in he profile, my name is as moderator so I don't understand why it does not showon the subjects!!

make your rank and use in your profile with admin panel room.

Moreover is Moderator is username. Also you are admin only or what

ok it is about group.

It will not be possible unless one hard complicated process.

FOr that

Admin=>>user&group=>>group=>>create new group=>>Séverine=>>moderaotr also Séverine.

After this assign Séverine as moderator of all forum.

@Sevi: Finally, the link to your page solved the issue. You have only a group as moderator and not a single user. Proceed as following:

click in your Admin Panel "Users & Groups / Users" and find your Username and click the Permissions Icon Moderator's name Perms

. Now you can select where you want to be a Mod and it will show your Name as well. No additional group needed! Wink

EDIT: @lourence: You will find this option in "Users & Groups / Users / User Settings".

you will have to remove the mod rights of the group if you wish to. "Users & Groups / Groups" and this icon again: Moderator's name Perms

for the moderator-group. Uncheck the forums where you dont want the name to appear. Smile

You will find the colorized username option in admin panel=>Users & Groups=>Users=>User settings and look for this option "Colorized Usernames Enabled?" and choose Yes then Save.
