FaceBook Log In Not Working On My Forum

Hi, I Have A Problem About FaceBook Log In In My Forum.

The Log In Did Not Work On My Forum, When I Click The FaceBook Log In Button, It Won't Pop-Up, I Also Try Log In Using My Second Computer, But Have Same Problem.

My Second Forum Has This Problem Too But I Have Shut Down The System Already.

Hope Have A Solution To Fix This Problem

Did you set up the Facebook Connect where you have to create an Facebook app for your forum, then add the codes in your administration panel?

Yes, I Have Created The FaceBook App, And Paste The Correct Code To The The Field, But Sill Not Working.

When I try to register on your forum to check the Facebook Connect, I get a message saying, "Validation Failed." When I close the message, the page reloads the homepage.

, Strange, I Put A Correct Code Into The Field. Maybe I Did Something Wrong On My Template Or My FaceBook Connect Setting. I Try Check Again.

EDIT: Ops.., Sorry Slg, I Forgot To Deactivate The Sandbox System For My App. Try Register Again. Template Has Been Restore To Normal But In My Computer It Sill Did Not Pop Up Anything When I Click The FaceBook Login Button.

The button is there, and you are correct pressing it does not work.

So, Shall I Have To Fix It On My Template ? Or Wait MrMario To Fix It ? Because Few Day Ago I Also Unable To Login Using FaceBook On The Support Forum.

I believe you will need to contact Facebook and see if you have the app set up correct. There was an Facebook app update not too long ago that could be casuing this issue.

I posted about this upcoming issue a couple months ago, and had hoped that all the background changes were completed by the eToxic techs. Apparently not. The timing listed in the following blog post coincides exactly with people reporting that FB Connect isn't working on their boards:

I am sure the facebook button is broken - but I can't login to the forum to fix it since I only used to log in with facebook

You should still be able to log in to the forum without using Facebook.

"IF" I knew my login..... waiting for an admin to msg me and help me...

This problem is down to facebook it's self i have 3 other sites that are not with this host and we are still getting the same problem I have spoke to facebook and they have had a problem with a server that lost some data and are working on the problem

I will keep you all upto date as soon as i know more ...

Well It It Possible To Login To Forum Using This FaceBook Login Button Found In Here ?

No it will not be possible, as you need to modify the current log in script, which we do not have access to, only the devs/techs have access to it.

I have no idea when this should be corrected. Sorry.

Hope This Topic Can Let MrMario Attention And Fix It.

MrMario is also a volunteer alike myself, and does not work for the company either. I know for a fact that the techs are aware of the issue, and it is in the list of corrections. No due date has been given

Today i got an Email From facebook saying that the facebook login tab is now working they say there sorry for any problems that may have come up and if the problem is still in our forums then let me know and i will be happy to pass your links on to them

if this is now fixed for all members then please let us know so the thread can be closed

I just tested it on my forums (spirit blade.forum-motion.com) and it works for me.
