Solved Help with Widgets

Post by Flip December 16th 2011, 6:07 am

I'm having problems with placing widgets on my site. Its like some bug or something. Because I did it before and everything worked. Then while experimenting with different widgets, I took it down, and now I put it back the exact same way, but I get nothing but code all over my homepage. Sad

I'm doing everything exactly the same, I'm baffled as to why its not working now.

Its the last thing I need to complete my site design, and at this point, I'd be willing to give someone access as an admin to go in my admin panel and try to fiix it, if possible.

Can anyone help me?

Thanks

Can you post a screenshot of the settings you made? Also give us the forum URL.

Display forum widgets : Yes

For widgets on the right of Forum Content.
Width column 1 (left) :0
Width column 3 (right) :180

For widgets on the leftof Forum Content.

Please don't double/triple post. Your post need to be separated by 24 hours before bumping, replying or adding more information. Please use the edit button instead!

I can see the Rss Feeds widget normally.

Can you see below the RSS widget on the right, where its nothing but code posted on the homepage?

Please check again.

Where my widget is supposed to be posted, it posted nothing but the code. As if I pasted the code there myself. But I didnt.

I added the code on my portal. It works fine for me.

Check if you have html enabled on your forum.

Thanks for your help. I enabled html, but still doesnt work. It worked once, but idk now. I think there's something wrong with my site.

Is there any place for tech support where someone can go in my panel and take a look?

Problem solved. I had been editing on Google Chrome when I had it working before. For some reason when editing in internet explorer it won't work. Tried Chrome and that was it.

Thanks
