My site is being bombarded by dumb***ss using proxys, how can I make it so if you're using a proxy, you can't go on my site.

Keep banning the users, IP, and make new accounts activated by you only.

User & Groups // User Options // Who can activate accounts // Admin

That what me and my 3 other forum admins are doing. It's been quite annoying. I ban an average of about 10 - 20 proxys a day. I'm a noob to phpBB so i keep thinking that they're hacking my website because we've been hacked 2 time before because an admin was hacked, but me made sure to only have the most trusted of people as admins this time. I'd feel a lot more safe if I was able to use the utilities but even with the help of Mr Mario I still can't find my password, and Mr Mario, I never received and email from you guys. Which email address will I be getting the password from and which email sends the message? Because A while ago I cleared by Inbox because Iforgot about what you said.

Its going to be very hard to get rid of them. Are they using random-named accounts?

Maybe one of your admin is betraying you,keep a watch on them.

Nope, it's just people using some sort of software, because it's guests, and they say on for hours on end until I can get on the site and ban them. The only admin that has any contact with the people who I think are doing it is pretty inactive..

If its a problem with guests, then why not disable posting for them?
