Can't create categories and forums

Hi

I've tried this now on version 3 and 2
I've created a forum and my admin panel works okay
However, i can't create any new categories

I click on:
Admin panel
The "Forum" Tab
The "Create Categories and Forums" tab
(i've also tried this using the "Management" icon

Once I do that, it routes me back to my admin index
Is there something I need to install on my pc? is it a problem with my browser? please assist

I'm admin on another forum using phpbb2, but the guy who created that has left the scene
On that one, everything runs smoothly

Try clearing your cookies and temporarily internet files. Also try with another internet browser.
