Creating write-only Forum

Hi, and thanks for taking the time to look through this.

I'm trying to create a write-only forum. I would like members to be able to access the forum and create new posts, but not to read anything they have not created. Bascially trying to create annonymous feedback to admins without using PMs.

Ideally members shouldn't even see threads they have not created, but that's not essential.

Can you tell me if this is possible without assigning every member their own user group, and if so how I would go about it?

Zinex do you think [hide] would do this? since only mods and admin can see it i think.

Well, it's not essential that members see their own threads, only that they cannot _read_ other peoples. It's ok if they can _see_ other peoples though, provided they can't read the content.

Would [hide] work for that?

yes the hide tag would work to hide peoples posts, but you would have to get them to manually add these themselves or do it for them. It would be very time consuming, if your forum was to get large.

It's just one section of it, to allow people to feedback to the sackholders without other members seeing it - shouldn't be more than a couple of posts in a week.

It sounds like it would be ideal - may I be a pain and ask the syntax? Is it just [hide ]hidden text[/hide ] ?
