i have PunBB and i am reading this tutorial

i put the codes for new system but i want create this system in a homepage message

(display > homepage >generalities)

but i dont know what code i put it ... i am searching but ....

I guess you cannot do this via that tutorial. Hmm, the template variables aren't working for Generalities, announcements, or other places... Also, the variables from portal, or certain from mod_recent_topics aren't working in index_body. I thougt about index_body because there you can edit the Generalities content...

The only thing I thinking now is that you can, but don't need to put one of that codes there. Guess you are using as homepage the forum, not portal or a HTML page, right? Please provide your forum url.

Go to Structure.
Add the "News" Widget in the center.
