Legend image for new no, etc. posts in sub-forums?

I made a thread the other day and in the stupid smiley mistaking point number 8 "8 )edit2: it's fixed" after the person supplying a code for my 8th question had errors in it/didn't work, which I managed to fix led to the misunderstanding that I had fixed all the problems I listed in my reply. Including 2 questions which were left un-answered - which is why I did not mark the thread as solved. It wasn't, however the person who locked the thread did not support pms.... so...

so here's my new thread.

Anyway,

I was given this code

to reduce the gap between ranks and the badges (--Clan Leader) in posts. However, this caused everything in the details below those two to join together. How do I seperate them again while keeping the reduced gap?

Also, using this code

}

which I was also given to put a #121212 coloured panel on view profile/edit profile pages, they also appeared on the homepage behind catergories, chatbox and a random one at the top. How do I isolate that code to JUST view profile/edit profile pages?

Finally, on the home page, I used yet another code found in Tips & Tricks to get an image behind the new, no, locked posts legend. How can I do the same thing for post legends within sub-forums?
