Mouseover Image code

Is there a CSS code I can add to my stylesheet for a mouseover images for "New Topic" and "Post Reply" buttons? Or can I alter an existing code in the stylesheet to make a mouseover work?

If so, I need the code and told where exactly to put it in the stylesheet. I have phpBB 3.

I tried that by putting the code at the bottom of the stylesheet but it didn't work. I added the URL's to the buttons in the proper places it said and it simply didn't work. That is why a specifically pointed out in this post I had phpBB3 (they had phpBB 2) and nowhere did anyone say where to put the code in the stylesheet in the link you just provided.

If you could write the mouseover code and tell me where to put the URL's to the buttons I would appreciate it. And also where to put the code in the stylesheet. I've tried everything but can't make it work.

Do I need to remove the "New Topic" and "Post Reply" buttons from pic management first before I add the new code to the CSS stylesheet?

What code you used, you said that added the URL's after the img? Can you show the exact code?

for houses code you do not have to add any url.
You just place the code.
