Signature Character Limit?

Re: Signature Character Limit?
The character limit is currently set at 500 characters, but when I copy and paste my signiture onto Mic Word and do the word count, the character count is less than 500, yet it says I have exceeded the limit when I edit my signiture.
Also, I can understand if the signitures are limited in case they are too big, but what I do is have a drop-down menu with all text. Now this takes up a lot of character space, but in terms of size and the space it takes up when it shows up in the signiture, it was very small. So I would like to know whether there are any exceptions that can be made or maybe a limit on the signiture size (like KB, MB kind of size) instead.

Sorry but the current limit is 500 characters and can't be changed.

Will there ever be a change? Or at least has there been any indications that they may be more lenient in the future?

Re: Signature Character Limit?
The maximum characters for signatures have been enlarged before (since 500 characters wasn't the first value they had) As for another upgrade I don't know.

"Drop down menu"? Thats coding, right, or how do you do it? Trust me, coding takes up 500 fast. I can barely fit anything in. A little drop down menu with like 3 small options and no submit button is around 500.

Yeah it's coding. I wanted to be economiocal in terms of the length of my sig and not have this long vertical list, but it's one of the problems I am having with the character limit. I can get 5 options (usernames) and no submit button.Tricky wrote:
