Click on image, opens up a new tab?

Is it possible to have a image that when you click on it, it will open up a new tab?

For example, lets say there is a Enter button/image. When you click on the enter button/image, it will open up a new tab and you will be redirected to wherever the link takes you.

Yes its done by setting a target attribute on the link.
