i am preety sure it will stay free until you decide to buy your custom domain
if you were to get a high number of registered people getting a custom domain would be a good idea

Re: will my forum stay free
Becuase when you pay for hosting and host a proper forum on a webhost, you have access to everything. Anything can be changed, anything can be added and there are A LOT more possibilities and A LOT more features.
EDIT: I guess ProphecyCSS knows very little about hosting forums on paid web hosts.

Re: will my forum stay free
Then I guess your not getting the most out of your paid forum if it remains similar to a forumotion forum.
If your finding very little differences then I recommend you stick to free hosts. They are pretty much made for beginners.
This also goes as advice to the OP who asked this question, hence making it related to the topic.

LGforum, please don't make personal comments about whether a user knows or does not know. If he is not aware, he will come & ask. There is no need for taking a dig at others by statements you made above. Please avoid starting unnecessary flame wars.

Re: will my forum stay free
Hi craig, Forumotion will remain as a free forum hosting provider and your forum will always remain as free. Payment is only required if you decide to buy credits for ad removal or a custom domain.
