I cannot log into Servimg to delete photos in my root folder
I was told here on a thread that I started (now in the garbage) to log into Servimg using my email and password that I created my forum with in order to access the images in my root folder. There are some that I wish to delete. I have tried this multiple times on different days and I always get the message that my user I.D. or password is invalid.
I am not sure why I can't log in to Servimg. Is there another way to access the root folder and delete the images?
I have also tried to go to the "Host Image" section in my Admin panel and "add" the password there. The email is correct (the one I used to create the forum) and when I click on update I get this message: "These informations are invalid. Please insert a valid Servimg account."
So, for some reason I am not recognized on Servimg with my email address and yet I can still upload images to the forum which in turn get stored in the root folder (which I cannot access).
Does anyone have a solution to this problem? Thank you.
Oh, and can I change my user name from Admin to a different handle without causing problems for my site?

Please try the email address which is associated with the Admin account.

That is what I did do. I only am using my Admin email when trying to access Servimg. It is also the one that is in the Admin panel host section and it doesn't recognize it there as being a "valid" account either.

Try other email addresses that you ever had on that forum.

I have only ever used the one email address. I started my forum at the end of December and have not changed my email since beginning the site.

What about the password, can it be incorrect?

I am using the password that I log in to my forum with and also that I used to create the forum. It has not changed. I tried changing the password in the host section of my Admin panel but it says that my email address (which was already there) is an invalid Servimg account. I did not put my email address in the host section. It was put there when I created the site (by default) and so it all should work but does not.

It's my email address that I used to create the forum. It's the one I've been using to try and log into Servimg with as well. As I said before, when I tried to change the password there (in the host section) to see if that would help, it does not recognize my email in that section as being a valid Servimg account. It tells me to please enter a valid Servimg account.

I just sent you the PM with my email address. Thank you for checking on this. I again went to my host panel to see if I could change the email address there to lower case letters only (as it shows in my profile) and either way I enter the email address, I get the message telling me to please add a valid Servimg account. It's like that email address doesn't exist at Servimg but yet it is the one I used to create my site and the one where all email is sent to me from my site and Forumotion.

Re: I cannot log into Servimg to delete photos in my root folder
I was able to discover that the spam filters on my email account were deleting the emails from Servimg before they got to my mailbox. Once I adjusted the settings to allow spam to be placed in the spam folder instead of being deleted, I got the email from Servimg upon requesting a new password that allowed me to "activate" the account there.
Any emails from them, including from the creation of my site, had been being deleted and that's why in essence the account was never "activated" and I couldn't update it from the Admin panel.
I would advise anyone having the same difficulty with Servimg to check their spam settings. This discovery occurred because one of my Moderators got an email from them that got marked as spam after I requested she test the system for herself by uploading an image. So, apparently it is not uncommon for this to happen.
For me, the topic is now solved and can be locked. I hope my experience may help someone else who might be having trouble with this as well.
Thank you to Leeloo. She has not yet read my last PM letting her know that this has been solved for me but I wanted to thank her publicly for all her excellent help via PM.
