does ranking goes automatically?

Hey, when i'm at the Administration panel => users & groups => ranks => rank administration and i made a new rank with a certain ammount of posts needed, and a user hit the certain ammount of posts, does he automatically gets promoted?

Also, i want the moderators on my forum to have a image like this under their profile:

make a new group called moderators (you have to add people to the special ranks) and then use the image link (right click, copy image link), in the picture part.

If you set the rank up as a no special rank, then yes, when the user hits x posts, s/he will get the new rank.

As far as a promotion, if your promoting them to a new group, no. Not unless you have a group set up to the same post count, in which situation, yes.

To have the image, simply input the direct link from the hosting site into the 'rank image' box and save
