How do you fix the ranking?

The rankings of users barely show up. I had to massively update them. Can you please come here quick?

What ranks are you referring to? May you please post a screenshot?

I banned this user and it still says admin. Also I hired a new admin and it's not showing up. I unbanned someone and made them admin.

Ok, so those are considered special ranks, what you have to do is go to the members profile in the admin panel (if they are not banned there will be a link that says 'administrate this user'), once there scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page. You will see something that says rank title. To remove a special rank you need to change it to no special rank assigned. To add one, simply select the rank you want to give and hit save.

That is how you change ranks. You will have to manually do this for each person you wish to give a special rank to.

Um, no! That's not the point! I already changed their ranking. They are glitching up. Try again!

If you mean the broken rank image, then that is because the images are probably broken as I just said. You will either need to get new ones, or re upload the old ones if you still have them. Then that will fix this.

Once you have the new images or have re uploaded the old ones, you can add/fix them in ACP (admin panel)-->Users and groups-->Ranks administration.

No, you didn't say that because first of all, you misunderstood what the post was talking about.

I mis understood the first time, but I am pretty sure I understand now, you are saying the actual rank image doesn't show up properly, see the red circle:

If that is not what you mean, then you need to clearly explain what the problem your having is, because your vague explanations aren't clear enough to describe what the problem your having. From screenshot, thats what I gather the problem is, a broken image.

If whats in the red circles is not what you mean, then please CLEARLY explain what your problem is so I can understand what the issue your having is.

I can't be any more clearer. That is the problem. I want to fix it.

YES.

Who are you hosting your images with ?

I have no clue. Images have to be hosted?

Yes they do!

Your images (aka the image urls) are broken, therefore causing your issue. If you have the images for the ranks, then you can simply upload them on servimg and add the link in the rank image url spot when re adding the rank. This will solve the problem.

Where do you get new ones from? I want my forum to look beautiful again.

If you do the second option, be sure to read the graphic design section rules first, as it has some really specific rules that apply in that area.

Edit: They don't have all the ranks I need to fix this up.

There are hundreds, maybe even thousands of ranks in the gallery, if you can't find any you like, you can also request some as I said.

I tried the first option and the rankings are still just broken.

Did you update the image urls in rank administration?

Yes, every last one of them and deleted the non-special ranks. Those were all the badges I've created. Unfortunately, my home was destroyed in a massive earthquake in 2013, so that's why I've been unable to recover it.

You didn't add the image urls in the rank image url box. That it is not working.

You need to add the image urls to that box and hit save and it will show (like my screenshot).

Actually I added the image in the rank image url box plenty of times and it wasn't doing anything. It was only showing up on there and it keeps resetting every time I go back there, and it's still not changing.

Well add the image back again and take another screenshot so I can see that section with url added.

I saved and nothing happened. Didn't you just read the last few posts I just sent to the community?

Ape was just saying it looks correct, it is supposed to update when you save. If it doesn't try re syncing your forum. You can do this in ACP-->General-->Configuration--->All the way at the bottom it will say re synchronization of the forum, tick the box and hit save. See if that helps solve the problem.
