new forum question

having not made a forum up before, but having used plenty of them i thought i would give it a go...

the problem i have is i would not like members to leech the content [when i finish the forum design] is there anyway i can use the [reply] + [/reply] script in posts?. If not is there an alternative?

b: hits a thanks button [how do i add that?]

have changed the topic title. Have still a lot to learn

You would have to set all forum permissions for guest not to see
Then place your content in hide tags of your post
Once they reply to the thread they will see the content

Don't think it will work by thanking though?
Not sure you will have to test it.

I can't post the hide tags because I am on my iPod and will have to add them when I get home
