    Solved Quote Button automatically Multiquotes

I have Quote button and a Multiquote button. The "Quote" button will multiquote no matter if the "Multiquote" is activated or not.

Has there been a fix created for this?

    Thnx

The quote will include all previous quotes. The multiquote button is only if you want to quote from different people.

That isn't possible, the quote button when clicked will take you to another page, with only one post quoted.

It is not only possible, it is what happens on my forum if I quote someone who quoted someone else. You are welcome to go there and try it for yourself. Even though my forum is not officially open, here is a thread with some posts in it. http://opusdeitalk.forumotion.com/t9-first-time-post#18 I don't just get their last answer, I get whatever they quoted themselves. This is not standard on the forums I have frequented.

Do I have any admin controls where I can set the quote maximum? Two seems reasonable to me. Also, I have no idea how I would use the Multiquote, in this case. Do you mean I can click it and go around collecting answers from different posts?

OH I get it now. Your getting confused as to what 'Multiquote' is.

Multiquote is a feature in which you can quote multiple posts in one reply.
What your taling about is "nested quotes", quotes within quotes...

Whereas that is normal and SHOULD happen. If you quote a post that contains a quote, then of course that quote will come with it.
Because your quoting a post with a quote in...

Yeah, most of the forums I post on have "nesting" turned off because it's such a waste of bandwidth, I guess. The Multiquote works to turn it on. This is my first experience with auto-nesting quote-it-all. I'm not complaining, I was just confused. I see this is simply the default system here. I changed it in my forum now that I know where to find it.

So.. this is SOLVED if anyone wants to lock it up. Thanks for your patience and responses, I didn't mean to be unclear.
